HURRICANE MATTHEW UPDATE

We’re grateful for everyone’s love and support following Hurricane Matthew. Our students, staff and schools are safe, but there is much work to be done in the communities worst affected in the aftermath.

We’ve assessed the situation on the ground and are happy to direct you to two organizations we know and trust who are invested in Haiti in the longterm and in best position to provide immediate aid and relief: St. Luke Foundation for Haiti and J/P HRO.

St. Luke is our implementing partner in Port-au-Prince. They’re currently working to support the affected communities of their countryside schools and clinics in Jeremie, Les Cayes, St Louis du Sud and Gran Rivye. Donate HERE.

J/P HRO has mobilized to clear debris and rubble & provide much needed food and water to the southern coast. The people survived but their crops did not; they are cut off and will starve without our support. J/P HRO has secured a $50,000 matching donation if you text HAITI to 27722. To donate online go HERE.

Working together with local partners is the key to success for recovery. Please support these friends and trust your money will be well spent.

In solidarity,
APJ
