Today a group of globally respected leaders, shaping the future of people, planet and prosperity, set out a bold alternative to President Donald Trump’s growth‑at‑all‑costs/America First vision of prosperity, which is grounded in fossil-fuel driven expansion and de-regulation.
Just one hour before President Trump will unveil his own agenda at the World Economic Forum, the thought leaders assert that progress must be judged by whether every child has enough to eat, every worker can pay the rent and sleep without fear, and every community can thrive on a stable planet—not by the fortunes of a small elite. Any serious vision of prosperity must confront spiralling inequality, climate breakdown and social fragmentation head‑on, rather than celebrate GDP growth while millions are left behind.
