The Hope Forum

We are standing at the brink of a planetary breakdown, and the United Nations is calling upon the art sector to play a central part in securing a sustainable and safe future for us all.

Recognizing the inspirational power that art can offer the global society, whether through great art experiences, agenda setting, or community mobilization, the time to create momentum for transformation is now. We depend on art as a catalyst to inspire change we need today.

On this occasion, ART 2030 was proud to present the first edition of The Hope Forum, as a pivotal moment to establish partnerships for hope, building up towards key international UN events in 2022, including the President of the General Assembly's Moment for Nature and the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development - Mondiacult.

Held during the opening of the 59th Venice Biennale, The Hope Forum invited trailblazers, changemakers, and advocates from all levels of the art sector to come together to find hope through partnerships, a panel discussion, and the launch of Art for Hope.
